A Glorious Moment

In my last Journal entry, I wrote about the usage of Prime Single Focal Length Lens Vs using a Zoom Lens.

I am grateful for using both Primes & Zooms because they both taught me how to get the best out of each other.

The image above was a very special moment today. It would not have been possible le to create this image with a prime Lens of 35mm. My Zoom of 16-80mm F4 got me close enough to make the frame.

I was walking along The Grand Union Canal which forms part of Little Venice.

I caught sight of two Swans.

I stopped for a brief moment to see if they would pose for split second to give me a perfect expression of LOVE 🫶🏻.

I waited.

And.

I waited.

I observed them swimming around each other, dipping the long necks into the waiter, come up for air and posing.

It slowly was dawning on me that I was witnessing one of the most extraordinary sights in nature; The Mating Ritual of Swans.

I have never seen this before.

It was magical, amazing and astonishing.

Here is the moment, caught in 35mm of Swans mating.

Lady Swan is virtually underwater while big daddy is responding to the call.

This is no joke.

I saw it with my own eyes.

I had my Camera on Burst mode, capturing 3 Frames per second. I caught this glorious moment that confirmed my belief in Natures intelligence.

We are a part of this divine energy and expression.

Love is real.

Love is the most powerful force in the universe.

God spoke to me today.

The message was clear, "I am in you, don't betray your nature".

This was a beautiful moment to witness.

Everything in God's work is a perfect creation.

Amen
