Daily Vision

At the bare minimum, I must create one image per day.

My mentor Bryan Peterson is always saying, “you keep shooting”.

This means keep practicing; don’t let a moment to create an image pass you by.

For me, this has become wired into my nervous system.

I don’t leave home without my Camera.

Just like my Deck of Cards, my Camera is always with me.

The funny thing is, I only create an image if I feel it. This is critical to learning what moves me to create.

Three Subjects inspire me:

  • People
  • Environment
  • The Culture of a Given Place

It’s a privilege to document the life of my friends, like Valentino. This moment will forever remind me that he took the time to visit me during my difficult time looking after my mother.

My daily vision is simply being aware of what is going on around me in my neighbourhood”.

Some of my best moments are created right in my kitchen.

Finally, my Daily Vision is simply an expression of gratitude for every moment that brings me joy.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude”.
