Day Light - Night Light

When the subject is The Light, it changes is everything.

l decided to focus my attention just on this element. The Light is London yesterday felt bright so my exposure was for the Highlights.

I was not too focused on any specific subject matter, just the quality and direction of Light.

This in turn made the subject in the Frame interesting.

Towards the end of the day, I switched Lens to a fast 50mm 1.4. Shooting wide open, gave me some colourful expressions of Light behaviour.

The Light at night comes from homes, street lamps, so this changes everything. Yet still, the Frame speaks volumes about the Light in the scene.

This exercise was all about seeing The Light. No matter the time of day, Light will be present.

Once I see The Light, she is mine. All other subjects are secondary.

Thanks for reading.

“In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present”.
