L.L.V. | Time Difference

L.L.V.

That’s Low Light Vision from now on.

What a difference a few hours can make.

That image above was created this afternoon.

Look at the shooting details below.

This is interesting.

You can see the settings I used for middle of the afternoon. It was a cold day and the light temperature was not warm. I adjusted the White Balance to K4500 and it looked right.

ISO 400

F8

1/125th sec

@18mm

That’s a decent exposure - I like this image of this by School on my road.

On my evening walk, I passed the school again and created this image. I knew it would be a great counter point to this conversation about Low Light Vision.

Look at this.

It’s the same subject.

However, it’s a totally different expression of the Light.

Look at the shooting Data.

The ISO went crazy: 10000.

That’s just to ensure my shutter speed was at 1/125 sec.

This is good training because at least I know my Camera can deliver a decent exposure.

The 16mm 1.4 works like a charm.

It all comes down to confidence in my Gear, Technique and allowing the Light to do its thing and, responding to the Light with gratitude for this collaboration.

That’s it.

It doesn’t get any better.

To be continued.

Thanks for reading.
