Maxi And Renata

This is Maxi, one of the cutest dogs in my neighbourhood. This image was created using my camera in remote control via my iPhone.

This is one time when technology really impressed me. My phone and camera talking to each other like is miraculous.

Anyway, last Sunday morning, I struck up a lovely conversation with a lady called Renata, Maxi’s owner.

Renata and I are both deaf so we had a conversation lip reading each other. I told her about the image I took of her dog and shared it with her via airdrop on our phones - she loved it.

During our conversation Maxi was sleep - it’s very hot here in London and all the dogs are out basking in the Sun.

Maxi woke up and was quite animated. I asked Renata if I could create their Portrait. She kindly said yes.

This is the first time I have seen a dog smile. Look at these images.

Maxi is happy.

So is Renata

Street Portraits for me is the jewel in the crown. The Crown is my interaction and rapport with people.

Asking to create a Portrait is easy - I must feel the possibility and then ask.

My camera is my passport to a world of unlimited possibilities.
