Saving Daylight

I am so glad I embraced creating images at night. When the clocks go back 1 hour, it will be late afternoon.

Every year we have this.

Daylight saving hours.

To be honest, I don’t see the point.

I find it very disruptive to my sleep pattern.

This time of day is good quality shooting time.

Low Light Photography is an incredible expression of the light.

I find it much more interesting than the full blast of the Sun blowing out everything - protecting highlights.

It’s a different skill set - ND Filters, Polarisers, all designed to do one thing, control how much light enters my Lens.

It’s really logical; create images early morning and late afternoon.

If it’s full blast mid day I am looking for shade.

At night, I got a Lens that is fast and sharp.

The Fuji XF 16mm F1.4 is my Lens of choice for Low Light Photography. This includes Indoors and out.

To be continued
