Seeing People | My New Project

Welcome to my new Project.

Seeing People is my vision for the next few weeks.

Its all about observation, being invisible and not disturbing the moment. This means I am choosing the Telephoto Lens, specifically my XF 90mm.

The 90mm is a perfect optics;

90mm on my Fuji equals 135mm - this is a throw back to the days of Saul Leiter. He set a new context for The New York School of Photography. He used a Telephoto while others of his generation stuck to the classic Frame of 35mm.

Already, I can see and feel the value of this approach.

I am now an observer.

am detached from the scene.

My intention is to document the human being fully unguarded.

It’s in these unguarded moments, I see the truth in the gesture of the expression of life.

Thanks for reading.
