Silly O’clock | Golden Hour

Just the thought of getting up early to catch the morning Light fills me with dread.

I fully appreciate the subtle nuances of creating images at this time. If I lived in the country side, no question, I would push myself to do it.

It just so happens, every Friday morning I am up at 04:00 am - silly o’clock. I have to be at The Institute of Directors for my weekly Breakfast Club meeting of 07:00 am.

Every Friday, I catch the morning Light with my Camera.

These images technically classify as Low Light Photography not Long Exposure. This is because taking my Tripod would be a hassle to my Business Meeting.

I made sure my Lens are Fast:

The XF 14mm F2.8 for the first image and the XF23mm 1.4 for the two above.

All images shot wide open and Raw - Auto ISO came in around 3200 with my shutter speed fast enough for decent exposure.

I love shooting in Low Light, everything looks and feels so different. The colours are gorgeous and magical.

Silly O’clock imagery has its place in my world.🤣
