The Light At Night | Pt ll

This project has taken off.

The light at night means seeking the Light.

Ok, it’s light coming from bulbs and other sources - doesn’t matter, light is light.

In many ways, it’s a lot easier to see the light because the original canvass…..BLACK, makes it easy for the light to stand out.

Shadows and Highlights play together at this time.

I am really looking for the colourful expressions of light during this project.

It’s quite magnificent once I see it.

My shooting work flow is very simple:

X-Pro 2

XF23mm 1.4 - my Aperture is wide open at 1.4.

Auto ISO 1600 - 12800

Minimum Shutter Speed 1/200 to avoid camera shake.

I am not worried about action stopping images. Next week I will be shooting light trails with slow Shutter Speeds. For now, I am simply seeking to understand my best creative exposures for low light images.

What I find really interesting is how different my Neighbourhood looks with low light.

I see these spots of interest everyday and right now, it’s a new adventure and conversation.

To be continued.

Thanks for reading. 🌚
