XPro1 | CHEAT

I have decided to give my XPro1 some real love.

Last night , I went to see my friend Laura present her show called Cheat.

This show is all sleight of hand with Cards and Laura is one of the finest exponents in the UK 🇬🇧 if not the world.

Sleight of Hand with Cards is a very demanding branch of the craft of magic. She excels and presents a compelling narrative along with stunning effects.

I had my camera paired with the XF35mm 1.4.

This was a good choice because the room was lit with low level red lighting. This meant shooting wide open and Raw.

I wanted to see how much detail and legibility I could retain in such low lighting.

My post processing was easy and straight forward. I am happy because at the very least I could have better control over my white balance.

I am very happy with the looks and feel of these images. High ISO doesn’t bother me. Get the shot, that’s the most important thing in my work.

She did a great job and my XPro-1 kept up.
