The Light At Night

I have taken on a project of creating images at night.

Low Light

High ISO - 1600 upwards.

Shooting at 1.4 with my XF23mm.

Once the clocks go back one hour, it means it will be dark by 16:00pm. That’s early afternoon here and the days not over….yet.

This means life and my neighbourhood will look considerably different.

The only light I will have will be street lights and lights from shops and residential homes.

This is all interesting to me.

Light is Light.

This project is not Blue Hour.

This is raw to the core low light photography and my 1.4 Lens means shooting with a wide open Aperture.

Nothing else will do.

This also means manual focus.

I will be looking for colourful expressions of Light during this project.
