X100F - WCL | Natural Vision

This is what I have been searching for.

My Natural Vision.

Documenting exactly what I see, nothing more or less.

I fully appreciate the optical tricks that using certain Lens can achieve. Sometimes, this is required to create a sense of scale, drama, visual impact that grabs the attention of the viewer.

The Ultra Wide field of view is a beautiful optics and must be used at the right time for the right subject. This is how I felt regarding the image above.

The Environmental Portrait of my friend Richard inspired this post because in using my X100F with The Wide Conversion Lens, the 28mm field of view has become so natural for my way of seeing the world - as a normal Lens.

I see the world as The Ultimate Stage.

What happens on this great stage is the grand production.

Shakespeare was right; “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages”.

It makes perfect sense to me now; it all begins with setting the scene, documenting the characters and then adding detail to the visual narrative.

Thanks for reading.
